Bronze-Oh-No

Good morning beautynistas!  And a happy Wednesday to you all.  I am just not totally comfortable saying happy hump day, I feel like it could be misconstrued for a wholeeeee other meaning.  And to be quite honest, I too for a long time thought hump day meant..well..hump day.  So learning that hump day really just meant "over the hump" of the week day was a whole new pill to swallow.   Get your minds out of the gutter, I want to talk to you about cheeks!

On to today's topic...Are any of you guys still in denial that it is inevitably fall?  Are you struggling with the fact that our tans are fading (or if your me, completely gone), our summer dresses have been packed away, and all of our hairstylists are trying to convince us to get low lights..DE-pressing. I mean I am just waiting for the day I walk in to Starbucks and they have the holiday cups out..that's when you really know.  It's hard to admit my little pretties, but the summer is gone, over, dunzo.  We have put away the swim suits and it is time to put away the bronzer too.  Yea, you heard me!  I love bronzer as much as the next jersey shore addicted bronz-a-rexic but let's face it, we can't be "naturally sun kissed" all year long..or can we?

But don't fret just yet beautynistas,  I do actually have some good news to go along with this shocking task I ask of you.  Lucky for us, slightly rosy cheeks are the new thing this season.  Runways and magazines are dusting their models with a slightly flushed, pink, rosy look as opposed to the beautifully bronzed  apples we all know and love so much.  So put the bronzers away for the winter and break out a new hue.  One of my favorite products to achieve this look is a product from Smash Box called O-Glow.  It comes in a creamy form and is most easily applied with your finger.  I suggest your ring finger as that is your least strong finger and will be the most gentle on the skin.  O-Glow will go on clear and then right before your eyes, will slowly blend with your natural skin tone and give you the perfect rose tinted cheeks.  Now we can all walk around looking a little bit like we are blushing ...and maybe flirting.  Pair it with a natural eye and a pop of color on your lips and BAM you are a face of beauty!

Try out this trend and let us know what you think!
