Orange Is the New Red!

Orange is the new black RED!  We all know I love a good red lip, but this spring, the most fashionable of fashionistas are ditching the deep reds that they have been rocking all freezing winter long and switching to a more happy, bright hue....ORANGE!!

Bright orange is a great lip color for the season.  It tends to look good on most skin tones and has a nice, refreshing appeal to it.  Not to mention it instantly reminds me of spring and flowers and fresh squeezed orange crushes juice.  It is something that is easy to throw on your lips when running out for the day.  Most of us are toning down the heavy makeup for spring and summer anyway with the rising temperatures (finally!).  No one wants to be trolling the city in 90 degree temps with a face full of foundation and a heavy eye.  Talk about a messy makeup nightmare!  Leave the skin light and fresh, add a little bit of mascara and then pop on your Orange lip as your accent feature.  You will instantly look put together and ready to go!
