Beauty Beach Bag Must Haves...

Hellooooo beautynistas, happy hump day!  Memorial Day has just passed and even though the weather has been gloomy, summer is upon us (I swear).  So what better time than now to share our top 10 beach bag beauty "Must Haves".  We all jam pack our over sized beach bags to lug to the pool or beach, so why not prioritize our beauty necessities to keep us smelling fresh and looking beautiful after a day in the sun.  The following are my top 10 GO TO  items that you can throw in your bag and rest assured you will be ready for anything!



1.  Neutrogena's Micro Mist Sunless Tanner:  This is great to mist on your body after a day on the water before stepping out on the town.  It will give your body that added glow and doesn't stain clothing or turn orange.


2. A lip tint or stain:  Throwing on a lip stain will brighten up your complexion instantly.  Find one that moisturizes as well like Maybelline Baby Lips, this way you are getting color, shine, and moisture.  No one wants dry lips after being in the sun all day.

 
 3. Water Proof Mascara:  Let's be honest ladies, when asked what we would never leave the house with out if we could only choose one thing  (the dreaded most annoying question for a girl or beautyholic), 9 out of 10 of us would say mascara yes??  This is why a water proof mascara is essential for our beach bags.  I am not saying to pile on 5 layers before a day at the pool, but applying once or twice through out the day will keep your lashes looking long and beautiful with out running or bleeding.  Again, my go to would be Loreal Voluminous Carbon Black  in water proof.

4. A body mist of your choice:  Notice how I said body mist as opposed to perfume.  Why??  A body mist is something you can quickly spritz on multiple times a day while out and about with out choking or gagging your surrounding friends.  Also, we all know perfume tends to mix with everyone's bodies differently, so it is not necessarily the best choice to spritz on after a day of being in sand, salt water, or chlorine.  Carry a small travel sized mist of your favorite scent and mist yourself here and there.  This way, you will smell fresh with out being over bearing. 5. Wide toothed comb:  Wide toothed combs work better than brushes on wet hair when combing through multiple times a day.  It is also easier to break through salt water residue or Chlorine which tends to dry the hair out.  Quickly comb through your locks after getting out of the water each time.  Sephora sells them fairly cheap and you can also find them at your local drugstore. 

6. Leave in Conditioner:  HUGE!!  As I have mentioned several times already; water, chlorine etc will dry your hair out.  Always have a leave in conditioner to spritz in your hair after taking a dip.  I tend to like the ones that spray in better because they are lighter and you can re apply more frequently with out weighing the hair down.  TIP: you can also spritz it in before getting in to the pool, it will coat the hair making it harder for chlorine to break through and attach.  I really love the one by Big Sexy Hair which comes in this really cool spray bottle that locks. 

 
7. Cheek Stain:  A quick cream cheek stain is great for the summer when our skin tends to be more oily.  You can rub it on quickly with your fingers and it will adjust to your skin tone and coloring.  I love O'Glow by Smash Box


8. Tinted Moisturizer:  A quick tinted moisturizer is great for the skin and an excellent alternative for foundation when you are on the go at the beach or pool.  One of my favorites is a little more on the pricy side, but totally worth it.  Laura Mercier Tinted moisturizers are AMAZE and will keep your skin fresh and glowing all day.  They also have an SPF which will help to protect your skin as well.

 
9. Travel sized Deodorant:  Ladies, there is no shame in carrying a travel sized deodorant in your beach bag when you know you will be in the sun all day, in and out of water, hot and cold.  Do your self and everyone around you a favor.  Dove Ultimate Go Fresh is great, it doesn't leave white residue that will stain your swim suit and you can buy them in pairs with a small body mist which is perfect for item number 4 on this list. 


10. Travel to Go sized Gentle Cleansing Baby Wipes:  Baby wipes aren't always for babies ladies.  Being in and out of sand and heat, it never hurts to carry baby wipes with you.  They can be used for multiple reasons and situations.
