Met Gala Best Beauty

The Met Gala is by far one of the most exclusive events in New York City, and there for making it the fashion industries top red carpet event.  Every year there is a theme and every year your favorite and not so favorite celebrities attend decked out in their best fashion ensembles and beauty looks, while also trying to stay within the event's chosen theme.  This is not always easy, some nail it and some fall short.  Last night was no different, it was a beautiful evening in New York and the stars came dressed to impress....or so you would think.  Check out my favorite picks for the nights best beauty looks below.  

Jessica Alba
A mom of 2, Jessica stepped out looking absolutely stunning last night.  I loved her hair pulled back with the soft, waved swoop to one side, and her makeup was perfectly glowy and bronzed.  The hair and make up were the perfect match to her gold accented gown!

Emma Stone
Emma absolutely nailed the hair last night with her messy side braid.  We all know I love a braid, but many think they can't pull this look off with out  having super long locks which Emma clearly proved to be un true.  I love the texturized curl she added in to the braid as well.  

Blake Lively
Blake's old hollywood hair and bright lip were the perfect accent to her nude, caped dress.  The waves are BE-autiful with her golden colored hair.  She looked stunning!  But did we really expect any less??

Kendall Jenner
I know I will get backlash for this one, but Kendall Jenner looked beautiful walking the carpet last night.  Her hair was curled, texturized and pulled back from her face letting her makeup truly shine.  I loved everything about this reality star's do!  Watch out sister Kim, Kendall is growing up!

Leighton Meester
Another Gossip Girl makes the list,  Leighton turned heads in her simple but elegant beauty look.  Her makeup was a neutral, smoked out look that blended nicely with her soft ombre'd waves.  The length that her hair hit her shoulders went perfectly with the neck line of the dress.  I was so impressed with her beauty style all around!

Marion Cotillard
Though her dress was a little day time picnic-ish for my taste, Marion killed it with her beauty and she knew it.  I love the one side slicked back with the retro swooped flip wave on the other side.  The red lip complimented the hair nicely while leaving the rest of her face nude and natural.  Amazing.

Charlize Theron
I mean,  I almost have no words for the perfection that was Charlize Theron last night.  She is so simply and effortlessly chic at all times.  Her hair and makeup was flawless. The combo went perfectly together, and had just the right amount of flavor with it all combed to one side.  

Selana Gomez
Selena kept it simple with the hair pulling it back in an off the face up do, leaving her makeup to truly shine.  Her bold lip and winged eye complimented her dress, she looked simply beautiful.  

Sarah Jessica Parker
Always somewhat channeling her inner Carrie Bradshaw and making a statement, SJP was one of my most top beauty pics.   I couldn't help but love her hair last night, and if anyone can pull it off it is this beautiful lady.  Her makeup looked flawless, her hair was fabulous and edgy and I think she knocked the beauty look out of the park!!  

Beyonce Knowles
Let's face it, you all knew it was coming, my absolute favorite beauty look of the night was none other than ...Beyonce.  And NOT just because I am obsessed with her, but because she truly brought her A game.  The slicked back severely side parted hair with the simple eye and bold lip just all meshed beautifully together.  Her netted hair piece tied it all in bringing a little more high fashion edge to the look.  She was perfection!
