Love It Or Hate It

There were a few looks on the Met Gala red carpet last night that were with out a doubt head turners, but were they for they right reasons???  Check out these bold looks below and let us know...Love it or Hate it???

Nicole Richie's Purple Hair
Sassy Chic Hated it!! Nicole has always been one to set trends but this trend is something that has already been seen on fashion icon Kelly Osbourne.  In fact Osbourne has the purple hair so locked down that is is even in her contract with "Fashion Police" to keep it.  It is not so much the purple hair that we hate specifically you see, its more of the why now and why purple Nicole??

Karolina Kurkova's ball gown..
Sassy Chic loved it!!  The ball's theme this year was "Charlie James" an iconic designer known for over the top sculpted ball gowns.  This red carpet was the perfect and potentially ONLY place that this specific gown would have ever worked and Kurkova took full advantage of that.  Absolutely nailing it, this is the point of the theme beautynistas.  Get creative!

Lupita's headband..
Sassy Chic hated it!! The whole ensemble looked like a costume or something to be warn by lady Jane of Tarzan.  Adding the headband only added to the costume effect of the net I mean dress.  We love Lupita but this is not her best look and in no way goes with the evening's theme.

Joan Smalls' bold purple lip..
Sassy Chic loved it!!! With her simplistic yet elegant ball gown and side braid, the purple lip adds that pop of flare.  We see so many bold reds and pinks, that on the biggest fashion night of the year, why not change it up a bit??  Also not to mention Joan's Fab shoes by Ruthie Davis, head to toe gorge!
