Trends come and go and quite honestly, not all trends work for all people but we would be lying if we said we didn't always try. Some trends we insist on keeping around long after the rage has faded...Some trends we instantly give the side eye to and judge anyone bold enough to try it out...Some trends simply never catch on...And some trends we let fade away secretly wishing for the day it is deemed "cool" to wear again. The Kitten Heel
Freaking FINALLY ladies, give your feet a break; the kitten heel is back! Though I absolutely love a super high heel and even sometimes, an added platform (short girl problems), sometimes my feet do not feel that same love. The lower pump heel is a super sought after trend this spring. Let's face it, these heels have until now, only been seen on and accepted by our grandmothers, great aunts or that girl in your office that wears her sneakers with her pant suit all day long until her important afternoon meeting when she finally breaks the heels out of her gym bag only for you to find out they are hardly a heel at all. Holy run on sentence! The embarrassment of any heel under 4 inches can finally fade away. Designers have reluctantly realized that a girl can only rock those high pumps for so long and have now added extra spice to these lower heels making it is the ultimate go-to trend for spring twenty fourteen. Take advantage while you still can! Nine West brought out these metallic hot pink kitten heels below.
The Ear Cuff
Who freaking knew, I mean seriously. The ear cuff, this one is something I NEVER thought I would see again except for at the nearest Hot Topic. But this reoccurring trend takes me wayyyyy back to my Claire's days in the local shopping mall. You all know you remember Claire's, 10 things for 10 dollars?? Classic teenage trickery. I have to admit though I kind of love the new ear cuffs. They are mixing it up a bit this season and playing with colors and jewels, debuting cuffs with mixed golds and silvers, pearls and diamonds. Avoid getting one that is too gaudy, and stick with something more classic and simple so you don't look like you are wearing costume jewelry. Check out some of this spring's cuff designs below.
Tribal Print
Tribal print is something that I can honestly say I have always been a fan of, though didn't think I would see hit the shelves again. But lucky me, designers have vamped it up and brought it back. This season is ditching the classic burnt oranges and browns normally seen with the print and adding in some brighter springier colors. Forever 21 is the perfect go-to spot for this springs tribal trend. Be sure to play with different prints, mix and match, because combining separate prints is another popular trend as well.
